Carrie Fisher's appearance on last night's Catastrophe was absolutely lovely (and hilarious, obvs)
THE LATEST SEASON of Catastrophe drew to a close last night with a whopper episode that many are calling one of the best ever.
It began with Sharon attending her father’s funeral and getting a quick dig in at her brother Fergal for wearing a turtleneck.

What ensued was every Irish funeral ever.
Rob was forced to bend his knees to ensure the coffin wasn’t all lopsided…

The highlight of the episode, though? Seeing the late, great Carrie Fisher one last time.
Fisher passed away suddenly in December just days after filming her final scenes for Catastrophe. Sharon Horgan took to Instagram last night to say that she hoped the episode was a “fitting tribute” to the legendary actress.
The episode featured Fisher attending the funeral, befriending Sharon’s Mam and generally being a bit of a dose. Needless to say, she was her usual hilarious self.
